Patty: Well, aren’t you charming? As your post is a testament to your ignorance about … pretty much everything, I’m trying to decide whether you’re worth the effort of attempting to educate. However, since the public schools have already failed you so horribly…

first, the Republican Party (and, by the way, I’m a republitarian — there’s a difference) is NOT the party of entitlement. The Democrats, tradionally, are. That my son asked if something with a “T” on it was his is indicitive of his age. Unlike when full-grown “adults” assume they are entitled to money and service just because they happen to be alive. That’s a liberal thing. Get it?

Probably not… so I’ll just move on.

so, thinking for yourself has led you to believe Obama is doing a great job? This is evidenced by… the fact that his heavy-handedness is serving only to prolong the financial crisis? The fact that he’s tripled the deficit in a mere 3 months in office (Bush, with a war on, took a full 8 years to double it — Obama has TRIPLED it, from where it was after BUSH left)? The fact that his “America Sucks” World Tour not only made him appear as a giant pushover to other nations, but also completely FAILED in its stated purpose of drumming up military support?

As Super-duper swell as it is that you “believe he can turn this country around,” the growing evidence would suggest that your faith has been drastically misplaced.

Interesting that your son has been allowed to assume that anything with a T on it belongs to him. I guess that’s a republican mindset maybe? Cause eventually they assume they own the country. And right now the rethugs are doing whatever they can to get back into power. Kinda the ‘permanent majority’ thinking. Gosh, I am so glad I think for myself and don’t fall for all the right-wing talking points.

Obama is doing a great job. I believe he can turn this country around, and that our children’s children will NOT have a huge deficit.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I covered the tea party rally for the St. Lawrence Newspaper Co. and it received a full story and photo in three of our newspapers, the Daily Courier Observer, Ogdensburg Journal and St. Lawrence Plaindealer (Canton weekly).
It was an interesting story to cover.
